Why should be care to bail them out.?

The so called houseing crises is effecting roughly 2% of home owners. There%26#039;s a good chance these home owners should not have even been able to own one even the first place.

The politicians especially the democrates blame the banks.

Yet it was the goverment that forced the banking system to make loans available to %26quot;everyone%26quot; even if they had shady credit. The couldn%26#039;t descriminate between those who had good credit, and those who didn%26#039;t.

When in the HE!! will people take responsibility for their own stupid decisions? Why should they always stand with their palms up waiting for the next government handout, or entitlement? What have the done to be entitled to anything? Like a hooker waiting for a little something from her sugar daddy .

You are RIGHT ON. I am a real estate closer and yes, the government forced lenders to loan money to everyone who applied, regardless of credit or payment history, because those people and groups representing them screamed discrimination. This in turn created a frenzy of home buying, and when demand is higher than supply prices go up and sellers could get whatever they wanted for their homes.

People need to take personal responsibility for themselves and their actions.

The sad thing is that the homeowners will not be bailed out...but rich bankers and financiers will. Just wait and see.

Unfortunately I fall into the category of those who didn%26#039;t deserve the loan that I got..............which eventually came back to bite me in the @ss.....

I didn%26#039;t get a handout or any entitlements........I just got penalized.....

Fortunately though, I learned my lesson................too bad others don%26#039;t....

DO NOT bail them out, it is not the home owners that are going to laugh to the bank. It is the banks and lending intuitions...

Will it settle, YES

In a few years you will be able to buy houses right again. This time the lending institutions will only loan you what you are able to repay...

Let THEM go down in flames the same way the borrowers went down in flames...
