Don%26#039;t just put your cat down! Talk to your vet to see if he/she thinks your kitty will make a good recovery. Don%26#039;t just assume that your cat will be sore or unhappy for the rest of its life. If you just put kitty down without considering surgery (like some people are suggesting), you%26#039;ll always wonder if you did the right thing. Your cat sounds like it%26#039;s really fighting for its life, and if you can help it you should! About getting money for surgery, consider a loan or asking family. Try any rescue groups in your area, or SPCA, sometimes they can help or even do the surgery for a lower cost. Talk to the vet, they won%26#039;t let you make payments? Give them as much as you have and then make arrangement to make payments. If they%26#039;ll let you, if not, try and find another vet in your area that will.

I agree with David B you should put it down even if you spend the money to heal the cat it will never be the same and it%26#039;s health will only get worse so let it go it%26#039;s hard I know but it%26#039;s the right thing to do.

Some of you guys are really mean. You shouldn%26#039;t poke fun at somebody who really needs some help. Listen, everybody feels bad when their pet dies/or is killed. My cat was purposely hit last year and to this day it still gets me. I admire the fact that you want to help your pet but think about it, he has a broken pelvis. Some of these people are right, what good will it do him if he does have surgery. He%26#039;ll probably live in pain for the rest of his life. There are so many nice cats out there that need a good home, people aren%26#039;t going to automatically donate money for something like this, because of that fact alone. Put your cat down, it%26#039;s tough. It%26#039;s sad but let him go. If you have this operation, you%26#039;re probably going to be running up vet bills forever. Put the cat down...and one last thing, to the wise guy that said %26quot;get a bullet%26quot;- go to ****.

I%26#039;m sorry to tell you this but the only way your cat will get better is to take her to the vet. You cat is suffering. You%26#039;re right I wouldn%26#039;t have my child put to sleep if they were sick. But I also wouldn%26#039;t want my child to be suffering and in constant pain. Check with local animal shelters for financial help. If you can%26#039;t do nothing else it%26#039;s better to put your cat to sleep. Don%26#039;t let it suffer. I know if I was that badly hurt I would rather die peacefully than be in so much pain. Please don%26#039;t let her suffer any more.
