Does anyonw care to comment on Vonage Phone Service?

I cancelled my cable phone bacuse in the first year I lost electricity and could not use my phone because that battery back up went out. Also when cable is down, so is my phone. I have a new phone service called Blue Casa. It is really reasonable, but because I have life line service I cannot get an all in one plan for unlimited long distance and local service. I do get 150 minutes of long distance each month buy have gone over and my phone bill has been as high as 70 dollars.

I have though about getting Vonage Phone service. I don%26#039;t use credit cards, but an willing to buy a prepaid card if the service from Vonage is really worth it. Please reply! Thanks

Sorry I wish I could help but I have no clue about their service. I am always seeing commercials about it but nobody I know has it. That might be a clue that it is not very good but good luck with your decision.

My husband and I have been using Vonage for a little over a month. We are in Germany, but have a US phone number. It is absolutely wonderful. So far, I have not had any interruptions or problems. Plus, you can view incoming and outgoing calls (almost instantly) if you log into your account online. I love this feature. It%26#039;s my first %26quot;internet phone%26quot; but like I said, I love it. Our first bill was only $32 after tax, which is completely reasonable for unlimited calls from Germany to the States.

We also have friends (we%26#039;re military) who have used it for longer periods of time with no problems.
