Can 15 straight 30 day late mortgage payments be removed from my credit?

Mom%26#039;s house is in my name and she destroyed my credit. I didn%26#039;t know she was making late payments. She told me it was all caught up. Now I can%26#039;t even get my own house down here in Florida. She will be caught up soon, but it%26#039;s ruined my credit already. I am a perfectionist who was dumb enough to trust his mom. Now I can%26#039;t even rent an apartment down here. Is there any light at the end of this nightmare? I wish I was the type that would not care about this. But it is destoying me

No, those are your lates, no one cares who lives in the house or mails the check in.

I never let anyone borrow my credit rating, a very foolish move.

I really doubt if you can do any thing. If the house is in your name your the one that%26#039;s going to take the hit.

too late but you need to get your name off that mortgage and start cleaning up your credit rating. you might want to sue her but what good would it do other than the satisfaction.

No. Your name is on the mortgage. This is not you mom%26#039;s house but yours, sell it. Give her the money since she made the payments. Pay all your current bills on time, and your credit will begin to improve substantially in about two or three years.

Not a chance, no matter what anyone tells you.

Can 15 straight 30 day late mortgage payments be removed from my credit?

No, since you%26#039;re on the mortgage, you are liable for the payments being made. Just be glad there%26#039;s no foreclosure on your credit report. Not to rub salt in the wound, but since you%26#039;re on the loan, you could have called the lender to ensure they were being paid. They don%26#039;t have a problem telling you the truth. Mom, on the other hand was probably suffering from a case of injured pride.

Since the mortgage is in your name, insist she start paying you the mortgage money each month so you can ensure she stops trashing your credit.

Setup a direct debit payment from a checking account and try to set it up so that your mother deposits the mortgage payment to the account each month. This will help you keep an eye on your Mom%26#039;s financial planning or rather, her lack thereof.
