My fiance%26#039;s father opened up accounts in his name when he was a child. My fiance is a Jr. One was opened about 2 years before he was even born. We are wanting to buy a house in the next few years. How do we go about getting this taken care of? How long will it take (if you know) to get it all taken care of?

you need to get the credit report and start disputing it...if he didnt do it dispute it all...make sure you print out copies of his credit report so you can actually call those companies that have listed bad things on his credit..go to annualcreditreport.com and get your copies you can do it once a year and they are free...it depends on how diligent you are about it as for how long it will take to resolve it

My computer crashed like 4 days ago, and I had not yet put Anti-virus software back on the PC...

Last night my debit card info was stolen when I entered it on a website to purchase something...

I have run the Web Antivirus Housecall from Trendmicro...

I have run McAfee anti virus...

I have also disabled uPnP on my router (it was enabled because certain programs will not work without it.)

I have also run spybot search and destroy...

All I have come up with is cookies and spyware, no virus or trojans...

How can I make sure this doesnt happen again?

(My bank is taking care of the monatary loss, I am mainly concerned with my computer security)

From previous experience I have also been in this situation before. I dealt with the problem by downloading Norton Antivirus and it monitors whether or not the site is fraud and does daily checks on all files on my computer. I haven%26#039;t had a problem since. I really feel secure.

Also be careful with the spybots you use sometimes they cause spyware to appear on your computer.

1. You need to run a firewall that hides your information on secure sites. Like Zone Alarm or Kaspersky.

2. Only go to sites that you know are OK.

3. Use paypal or other means to be one step removed from entering your information.

Has anyone out there ever used this company before or know anyone that has ?

Im trying to get out of a 14k debt

Should I go with a Debt Management company to try and get this taken care of ?

I know there is a fee involved but they said it is no more than $30 a mnth.

I dont have 14 G%26#039;s to pay this off and I would hate to try and get a loan because thats what got me in this mess in the first place.

What is the best way to go ?

your money, and they hold it without paying your creditors

I have tried it, and so have some of my friends, some of them

take all your banking info and even ask you to sign power of

attourney! Plus, they do hurt your credit score and it does take

several years to come off! best advice, ask your credit card

company if they have a hardship program, tell them you want

to work with them directly to pay off the debt, some credit card

companys will do this with 0% apr, MBNA did for me, good luck!

POOR AMERICANS

Bush administration agrees to extend by three-year loan guarantees for Israel given to Israel in 2003; Israel has used USD 4.9 billion of a total USD 9 billion.

The Bush administration has agreed to an Israel demand that a loan guarantee deal be extended by an additional three years, until 2011.

The Congress needs to approve the move.

The simple math tells me that Israel has another 4.1 billion (with a b) dollars%26#039; worth of America%26#039;s tax revenue to play with until 2011.

And notice that Israel has %26#039;demanded%26#039; that the loan guarantee deal be extended by an additional 3 years, even though Congress must approve (which we know they will) the deal.

I have to wonder about what that money could do to improve the quality of life for our vets who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan.

But according to this Administration, these folks are expendable, and should have just had the courtesy to die on the battlefield so that the VA wouldn%26#039;t be overloaded taking care of them
